History is a jigsaw of fascinating myths, legends, stories of events, biographies of famous people, as well as historical sites and relics, and our History students are led to the path for the exploration of them. Through arranging an array of activities, including local visits and field trips to the Mainland, the History Department aims to present History vividly to students and arouse their awareness of the protection of historic cultural heritage. 
 
Our History teachers are proactive in promoting self-directed and e-learning to enhance educational effectiveness. They also collaborate with Hong Kong Baptist University in using augmented reality (AR) technology from an E-learning platform of Chinese Art History and 3D paintings to make history more engaging and experiential for students. In this way, our teachers not only bring History to life for students, but also bring work to life in the History Department.
