History is a jigsaw of fascinating myths, legends, stories of events, biographies of famous people, as well as historical sites and relics, and our History students are led to the path for the exploration of them. Through arranging an array of activities, including local visits and field trips to the Mainland, the History Department aims to present History vividly to students and arouse their awareness of the protection of historical cultural heritage. 

Our History teachers have been proactive in the promotion of self-directed learning and e-learning to enhance students’ learning effectiveness. Besides, they have collaborated with the Education Department in designing learning and teaching materials for the Revised Junior Form History curriculum and have been invited to be guest speakers in experience sharing seminars. In this way, our teachers not only bring History to life for students, but also bring work to life in the History Department.
