LPSMC Senior English Debating Team Emerges Victorious in Intense Debate Match, Advances to Term Finals

The LPSMC Senior English Debating Team achieved a resounding triumph in a challenging debate match against Hong Kong True Light College in the highly competitive Hong Kong Secondary Schools English Debating Competition. With the motion "This house would hold social media companies liable for the spread of fake news," the team demonstrated exemplary research and preparation. Notably, Chau Sze Ting, Christine from Class 5B showcased remarkable composure and skill in her very first debate. Additionally, Wong Sin Ping, Candy from Class 4D was awarded the title of Best Speaker in the debate, after a stunning performance full of passion and pizazz. Finally, we must give a special mention to Audrey from class 2A who is performing exceptionally well in the senior team despite only being in form 2. She always displays maturity, dedication, and passion. This impressive victory propels the LPSMC English Debating Team into the Term Finals, marking another significant achievement for the team.
