25th Lions International Youth Exchange Scholarship Short Video Competition

Congratulations to Candy Wong Sin Ping (5D) for accomplishing the Second Runner Up in the 25th Lions International Youth Exchange Scholarship Short Video Competition. Emerging triumphant through multiple selection rounds, she has secured an opportunity to go on a sponsored international exchange in the Youth Camp organized by the Lions Clubs.

This year’s video competition revolved around the theme of “Cultural and Arts Attractions in Hong Kong and Macao”. In her winning entry, Candy unearthed a hidden treasure of Hong Kong – the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir, through a scintillating video presentation in which she skillfully highlighted the historical, aesthetic and cultural aspects of the resplendent monument. During the final round of individual presentation, her painstaking research efforts, insightful perspectives and fervent delivery completely enthralled the adjudicators, earning her the prestigious recognition.

We truly commend Candy for bringing to light the lesser-known cultural gems of our city. As her achievement attests, engaging in such project-based competitions showcases students’ talents, as well as fostering a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
